About Us
We’re Guernsey’s Victim Support and Witness Service.
Independent. Confidential. Compassionate.
We support people affected by crime, whether they’re victims, witnesses, or family members trying to help.
We listen. We guide. We help people feel safer, stronger, and more able to take part in justice.
We’re not part of the police or courts. But work closely with them to ensure people don’t fall through the gaps.
We help people feel safe, informed, and strong enough to take part in justice.
Who We Are
-
That being hurt by crime doesn’t make you weak
Speaking up should never make you feel more afraid
That justice only works when people feel safe enough to take part
That support isn’t charity, it’s part of a fair society
-
We’re a small, experienced team supported by trained volunteers
We offer practical help, emotional support and system navigation
We provide specialist services, including Independent Sexual Violence Advisors (ISVAs)
We work with police, courts, healthcare and charities to support each individual case
We’re independent, and your choices always come first
-
We’re a registered charity, governed by a board of trustees.
We believe in transparency in how we’re funded, operate, and keep improving.

We’ve been standing alongside victims and witnesses in Guernsey for over two decades.
We don’t make headlines. But we make a difference every day.
